TORSA Machinery Unveiling at Bauma CONEXPO INDIA, Greater Noida
At an exhibition filled with some of the biggest names and machines in the construction and infrastructure industry, simply displaying a product isn’t enough.
You need to create a moment people notice.
That was the challenge when TORSA Machines approached Pinnacle Events Company for their participation at Bauma CONEXPO INDIA at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.
TORSA wanted to unveil its machinery during the exhibition. But this wasn’t meant to be a simple curtain drop.
The objective was to create a launch experience that could attract visitors around the booth, engage invited guests and give the media a moment worth capturing.
And doing that around large industrial machinery came with some interesting challenges.
The Brief
TORSA wanted to create a high-impact unveiling experience around its machinery display.
The requirement went beyond the exhibition booth itself. The launch needed multiple elements working together:
- A large automated curtain reveal
- Truss and technical infrastructure
- Show lighting and effects
- Professional sound setup
- Anchoring and event flow management
- Live entertainment and performers
- Singer and performance coordination
- Fabrication and branding support
- Vendor and on-ground coordination
Most importantly, everything had to come together around one key moment:
the machinery reveal.
A single remote command needed to open the curtain while lighting, sound, performances and the overall event flow worked around it.
The Challenge: Creating a Reveal Around Heavy Machinery
When our team visited the exhibition space, we quickly realized this would require more than a standard unveiling setup.
The machinery occupied a substantial portion of the booth, while the available space for installing the technical infrastructure was extremely limited.
We needed to create a curtain spanning approximately 65–70 feet, with a height of roughly 12–13 feet, covering the machinery before the launch.
But there was another constraint.
Under the exhibition guidelines, the supporting truss structure could not extend beyond TORSA’s allotted booth boundary.
Since the booth was positioned close to the edge of the exhibition area, there was very little room available for the truss legs and supporting structure.
The curtain also needed to split from the centre and open smoothly on command.
That made the challenge clear:
How do you build a large, reliable unveiling system around heavy machinery when almost every inch of the available footprint matters?
Our Approach: Start With the Space, Not the Show
Before planning performances or visual effects, our team focused on understanding the physical environment.
We inspected the booth, machinery placement, available floor space, boundaries and potential positions for the truss.
Together with our technical partners, we worked through different configurations to determine how the truss could safely fit within the permitted area while still supporting the large reveal curtain.
The final setup used a carefully positioned truss system supporting the approximately 65–70-foot curtain.
The curtain was divided from the centre and designed to open remotely, transforming a static machinery display into a coordinated unveiling moment.
It was a technical solution designed around the realities of the venue rather than forcing a standard event setup into the space.
Building the Experience Around the Reveal
Once the technical challenge was solved, we built the rest of the experience around that central moment.
Lighting equipment, including moving effects and show lighting, was positioned to create energy around the machinery without interfering with the exhibition environment.
Professional sound and microphones supported the ceremony, while the anchor helped guide guests through the launch.
Entertainment elements, including international performers and a live singer, were incorporated to build anticipation and draw attention toward the booth.
Fabrication, technical production and supporting event elements were coordinated alongside the main unveiling setup.
The idea was simple:
Don’t just remove the curtain. Build anticipation before it opens.
Managing the Event Flow
The physical setup was only one part of the assignment.
For an unveiling like this, timing matters.
The anchor, performers, sound team, lighting operators, technical crew and client representatives all needed to know exactly when their part of the ceremony began.
Our team helped structure the event flow so that each element naturally led into the next.
Guests gathered around the booth.
The anchor introduced the moment.
Entertainment helped build energy.
Sound and lighting created anticipation.
And at the planned moment, the curtain opened to reveal TORSA’s machinery.
Behind that short moment was extensive coordination between multiple teams and vendors.
The Result: A Product Reveal That Became an Experience
The unveiling was successfully executed during one of India’s major construction and infrastructure exhibitions.
Despite the restricted footprint, large machinery and technical requirements, the truss and curtain system was installed within the available space and the automated reveal worked as planned.
More importantly, the launch gave TORSA something beyond an exhibition display.
It gave them a moment.
A moment designed to attract attention.
A moment for guests and visitors to experience together.
And a moment that could be captured by cameras and media rather than simply another machine sitting on an exhibition floor.
The client response following the execution was extremely positive, particularly around how the technical challenges and overall event experience were managed.

What Made This Project Different?
For us, the most interesting part of this project wasn’t the size of the curtain or the number of lights used.
It was solving the experience around a difficult physical environment.
We had heavy machinery that couldn’t simply be moved around to make event production easier.
We had strict exhibition boundaries.
We had limited room for technical infrastructure.
And we had multiple vendors, performers and technical teams who needed to work together.
Instead of treating each requirement separately, we planned them around one central experience—the reveal.
That approach helped turn a challenging exhibition setup into a coordinated brand moment.
From Exhibition Space to Brand Experience
Exhibitions give brands only a limited window to capture attention.
A well-designed booth can bring people in.
But sometimes, you need something more to make people stop.
For TORSA, that moment was the machinery unveiling.
For Pinnacle Events Company, our job was to make sure everything behind that moment—from technical planning and trussing to lighting, entertainment and event flow—worked together seamlessly.
Because successful exhibition activations aren’t only about what you build.
They’re about what people experience when it comes to life.
